Dr. Nikki Wood is a Senior Associate Clinical Psychologist at True North Psychology with over 24 years of experience in mental health, working across NHS and private sectors.
She is known for her warm, down-to-earth approach and specialises in supporting adults who are feeling stuck or struggling with mental health challenges.
Therapeutic Approach:​
Nikki works holistically, integrating multiple evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic therapy. She takes a neuro-affirmative approach, particularly in her ADHD work, creating a non-judgmental and compassionate space for exploration and growth. She has extensive experience in forensic psychology and brings this expertise to her trauma-informed practice.
