True North Therapy Practice
True North Psychology (TNP) was founded by Dr. Sara Tookey in 2020 with the aim of providing accessible, inclusive, and evidence-based therapy. After working for more than 12 years in the NHS and private practice, Sara recognized the inequitable nature of private practice services and the growing demand for mental health services in the NHS. TNP operates under a cooperative business model with a focus on providing specialist psychological care to individuals who live in rural or disadvantaged communities where access to specialist services is limited.
The True North Psychology platform was developed to meet the needs of a culturally diverse population from around the globe, providing easily accessible and inclusive services upheld to the highest international standards. We provide compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental psychological therapy, drawing upon the latest research and evidence-based therapy methods to guide our clients and support them to live the lives they want to live.
