Dr Sara Tookey
Dr. Sara Tookey is an experienced psychologist and psychotherapist with 16+ years of experience in mental health, she has worked in the National Health Service, charities, and private sectors in the UK, USA, and India.
Sara takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy to empower clients towards personal and relational growth, so that they can live a more meaningful and satisfied life.
She works flexibly across multiple therapeutic approaches to design a bespoke therapeutic package that suits the unique needs of each client, couple/relationship and family that she works with.
Sara works with people with a wide range of emotional difficulties and experiences, and has particular interest in working with people who have difficulties with physical health and illness (particularly cancer and palliative illness), neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD, ASD), challenging experiences with non-ordinary consciousness, sexual and relationship diversities, existential crises, anxiety and depression.
Sara also provides psychological consultancy and advisory to organisations and businesses, offers supervision services to clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals and psychological support on psychedelic clinical research trials.
