What are the possible outcomes of an ADHD assessment?
There are several possible outcomes: 1. A diagnosis of ADHD 2. No ADHD diagnosis, and identification of other factors contributing to symptoms 3. Recommendation for further assessment of co-occurring conditions 4. Personalised strategies and recommendations or onward referrals, regardless of diagnosis

What is the process for getting an Adult ADHD assessment?
1. Book a 15-minute online video consultation (£5 fee) 2. Complete screening questions and attend initial consultation 3. If suitable, you'll be invited to book an Adult ADHD with us (£800 - paid at time of booking) 4. Complete pre-assessment questionnaires (including having a close family/friend complete the observer questionnaire/ interview) 5. Attend assessment session(s) (100 minutes total, may be split). If additional sessions are required we will aim to discuss this with you early in the process. 6. Receive detailed report 7. Attend follow-up session to discuss results and recommendations

What does the £1000 assessment fee include?
The fee includes up to 9 hours of clinician time, covering: 1. Assessment preparation 2. Optional interview with an adult observer 3. Assessment session(s) + Follow-up session (up to 4 hours) 4. Report writing 5. Liaison with other service providers if necessary 6. Onward referrals

What if I don't have someone who knew me in childhood to complete the observer questionnaire?
While childhood information is valuable, we can adapt the assessment process to your situation. We can work with: - Childhood documents (e.g., school reports) - Your recollection of childhood experiences - Information from someone who knows you well currently (partner, close friend, colleague)

What kinds of recommendations can be included in a treatment plan?
Treatment plans are personalised but may include: - Medication recommendations - Cognitive-behavioural strategies - Organisational and time management techniques - Stress reduction methods - Recommendations for therapy, ADHD coaching or other ADHD support services. - Referrals to specialist specialists where possible (e.g. ADHD coaches or therapists) - Workplace accommodation suggestions - Guide to support application for Access to Work Scheme - Lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, sleep hygiene)

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You can cancel or reschedule your assessment anytime up to 72 hours prior to your assessment booking time. If cancelled within this timeframe, you will receive a refund. If the required pre-assessment documentation isn't received at least 72 hours before the assessment session time, the assessment will be cancelled without refund.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we have limited slots for flexible payment plans. Please enquire prior to booking. These are set up via direct debit and must be agreed upon with your psychologist prior to booking.

What if I need additional sessions beyond the initial assessment?
If additional sessions are required to complete the assessment (e.g., for complex cases or co-occurring conditions), these will be charged at our standard rate of £150 per 50-minute session.

How long does it take to receive the assessment report?
You can expect to receive your diagnostic assessment report within 2-3 weeks of your assessment session.

What if I need support completing the questionnaires?
If you need assistance with the questionnaires, please let us know. We can arrange a telephone call with a member of our team to guide you through the completion of the necessary questionnaires.

Is the assessment conducted in person or online?
Our assessments are conducted online via Zoom for your convenience. We ensure the same high-quality, comprehensive assessment as in-person sessions.

What happens once I’ve received a diagnosis?
After diagnosis, you'll receive a comprehensive diagnostic report with recommended treatment options, which may include: - Cognitive-behavioural strategies and/or psychological therapy - Organisational techniques - Lifestyle changes - Appropriate referrals, if needed to nutritionists, ADHD coaches, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, prescribing psychiatrists, workplace advice and support We'll discuss all of this together with you in your feedback session.

Important points about medication: - We don't have an in-house psychiatrist - If medication is your primary goal, we may not be the most suitable service If you decide to try medication after assessment: - We can provide referrals to private ADHD specialist psychiatrists - Note: We can't guarantee all psychiatrists will: a) Accept our reports b) Start medication without further assessment If medication is a treatment option you are considering, discuss this with us early in the assessment process.
