Our Assessments
A Personal Approach
Our Founder's Story:
Dr. Sara Tookey, our founder and lead psychologist, knows firsthand the transformative power of a neurodivergent diagnosis in adulthood. Her personal journey inspired her to develop the service she wished had existed when she was seeking answers.
As someone diagnosed neurodivergent as an adult, I've experienced the frustration of long NHS waiting lists and the limitations of quick, impersonal private assessments. I knew we deserved better. That's why I've dedicated myself to creating a service that offers more than just a 'yes' or 'no' diagnosis. At True North Psychology, we see your assessment as the beginning of a journey towards self-discovery and empowerment. And we offer post-diagnostic support and resources to provide you with a path forward.

What our Clients Say About Us
Important Information

• We provide comprehensive assessments but do not directly prescribe medication
• Direct referrals available to our partnered neuro-affirming ADHD private prescribing clinic
• All assessments are NICE guidelines compliant and widely recognised by GPs, employers, and educational institutions. Nevertheless, we recommend you speak with your GP to confirm they accept diagnoses from non-NHS services first if you are interested in arranging a shared care agreement for ongoing medication management
