Dr Meghan Waugh

Dr Meghan Waugh is a clinical psychologist with over 13 years of experience working in mental health, across both NHS and private sectors. Meghan has worked in both inpatient and community settings, with adults, teenagers and couples. She is used to working with individuals with quite complex difficulties, where therapy can feel like a daunting experience.

She aims to bring warmth, humour and an informal approach to therapy to make the space as natural feeling as possible and to allow clients to feel comfortable to share their experiences. 

​

Therapeutic Approach:​

Meghan works flexibly, integrating multiple approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy and attachment-focused interventions. Meghan has extensive forensic experience, and brings a non-judgemental approach to all of her work. She takes a neuro-affirmative approach in her work, and enjoys working with individuals and couples exploring non-traditional relationships. â€‹

2010 Masters in Dvelopmental Psychopathology (MSc), Durham University
